WASHINGTON COUNTY | November 7, 2024
Portions of Interstate 49 (I-49) will be closed for 15-minute increments nightly from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday night, November 10, through Friday morning, November 15.
Weather permitting, the closures will allow crews to continue work on the new Har-Ber Avenue overpass.
The closures are scheduled on I-49 between Highway 412/W. Sunset Avenue (Exit 72) and Elm Springs Road (Exit 73) in Springdale. Crews will begin work on I-49 southbound and then move to I-49 northbound. The closures will only be in place on one side of I-49 at a time.
Traffic will be controlled using barrels, message boards, and signage.
