Highway 226 will close near Swifton between Highway 367 and Highway 67 around the clock from 7 a.m. Monday, October 28, through 7 p.m. Thursday, October 31.

Weather permitting, the closure will allow crews to replace a pipe culvert.

Message boards, barricades, and signs will be used to notify the public of the closure. A signed detour will be in place using Highways 67, 37 and 367. Highway 226 on either side of the closure will remain open to local traffic only.

Traffic can navigate around the closure by taking Highway 367 south to Highway 37 south to Highway 67 north.
