The mission of the Planning Division is to provide multimodal performance based transportation planning to support transportation investment decisions and advance a safe and efficient transportation system. The Division is responsible for providing long range multimodal transportation planning for the state, conducting studies of transportation needs, assisting cities and counties in transportation planning, and publishing information and recommendations relative to transportation issues.
