Introduction

The Local Programs Division is responsible for the administration of the Department’s Arkansas Commercial Truck Safety and Education Program (ACTSEP), Federal Lands Access Program (FLAP), Intersection Improvement Program (IIP), Local Bridge Program, National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program, Recreational Trails Program (RTP), and Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP).

Additionally, the Local Programs Division assists Metropolitan Planning Organizations with their Surface Transportation Block Grant Program (STBGP) Attributable Programs, Carbon Reduction Program Attributable Programs, and TAP Attributable Programs.
